COURSE DESCRIPTION
Attendees will learn how to design a safe work zone and they will learn about the newest technologies for work zone safety. How to use positive protection, truck mounted attenuators, dynamic and variable message signs will be among the topics discussed.
Upon completion of the Work Zone Safety training, attendees will be aware of MUTCD recommended procedures to design safe work zones. They will be exposed to different technologies and methodologies which can be used to make work zones safer.

Mr. Bloschock is a recognized expert in highway safety devices with over 30 years of experience with state and federal government, a toll authority, in engineering consulting, and industry.
He serves as a member of the AASHTO-ARTBA-AGC Task Force 13 on the Standardization of Highway Safety Hardware, several Transportation Research Board (TRB), National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) panels, as a committee member of the American Transportation Safety Services Association (ATSSA), and as a committee member of the International Road Federation (IRF).
He is also an expert in motorcycle safety as related to highway infrastructure.
