Webinar Overview

Using Artificial Intelligence to Identify Individual Distresses for Pavement Management

Road assessments are important to municipalities and engineering firms for measuring and managing their pavement conditions. Traditional methods of road assessments are unfortunately resource and time intensive, and the ratings assigned are often subjective. While critical individual road distresses like potholes may be noted during manual road assessments, there are several other types of individual distresses that may not get the time and attention they deserve- and therefore do not get proactively managed. RoadBotics Specialists Todd Saulle, Product Manager, and Miles Campbell, Senior Solutions Engineer, will introduce you to 6 different types of pavement distresses, how they originate, and what they can turn into if not properly addressed or maintained. They’ll also walk you through RoadWay, Roadbotics’ interactive online assessment platform, and its newest feature, Individual Distress Identification, that gives users the opportunity to make objective and data-driven decisions about their road maintenance.
