Road Financing Webinar Draws Participants from 16 Countries
The latest IRF online seminar attracted a wide range of industry professionals from 16 countries. Mr. Carlos H. Mojica from the Inter-American Development Bank discussed transport financing opportunities at the IDB.
Mr. Carlos H. Mojica, a Transport Specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank, presented during IRF’s Webinar Wednesday for February. Attendees learned about the transport sector at the IDB, with an initial overview of the Bank’s structure, the main investment areas and the relevance of transport in the lending portfolio. Mr. Mojica next highlighted the Bank’s ongoing activity in the sector, including a description of the IDB’s lending portfolio, grant programs and an introduction to procurement principles. The presentation concluded with a brief description of sample projects, used to illustrate the work of the Bank in the sector.
The webinar concluded with a series of poignant questions from the participants, with Mr. Mojica providing insightful and relevant answers.
The IRF holds monthly webinars, designed to engage and education. These events are complementary to IRF members, $129 for non-members and $19 for students.
