For the third time in three years, the IRF joined forces with ACCT (Chilean Road and Transport Association) and the DNV (National Roads Authority, Chile) in Santiago, Chile.

Held September 22-24, the 2015 International Road Safety Congress gathered more than 200 industry professionals, including speakers from Spain, Italy, Sweden, Argentina, Peru, Costa Rica, and the USA. Connectivity and road safety in the productive sector of the Chilean economy were the focus of the three-day agenda (road safety factors in ports, mining, etc.).

The Minister of Public Works, Chile, the Swedish Ambassador to Chile, and high level officials representing other government ministries and agencies participated in the opening ceremony and opened the 16-booth commercial exhibition.
