IRF Expands Executive Seminar Series into Southeast Asia
Over 80 transport professionals, including senior highway administration and local city officials, attended the first IRF Executive Workshop on Roadside Safety and Work Zone Safety Applications in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The program of the seminar focused on international roadside safety practices and norms as well as the importance of setting national standards based on tried and tested solutions.
The seminar confirmed IRF’s unique ability to draw from the expertise of highway professionals working in government, academia and industry around practical engineering cases to resolve numerous needless deaths and injuries caused by unprotected roadside hazards and work zones.
